Finally, 40 shelters donated by Yayasan and other donors are done … We are very happy to share that our fundraising for building 40 shelters for Ban Village, Karangasem was run well. Flashback to 16 October 2021, Karangasem got badly damaged for Earthquake 4,8 magnitude. Many houses and temples were broken. We feel blessed for the help we got from very kind donors. It’s hard to make our project come true without your help. 🙏🏾
From the Fund rising, we got :
- IDR 1.000.000 from Zulkarnaen
- IDR 5.702.900 from Dmitri
- IDR 1.633.800 from Ingrid Joustra
- IDR 408.450 from Jose Pronto
- IDR 27.505.000 Michael Beer (10 Shelters)
- IDR 71.239.850 from Yayasan Sahaja Sawah Foundation
The total donations we got are IDR. 36.250.150. The cost for each shelter is IDR 2.687.250. So the total cost for 40 shelters is IDR. 107.490.000. Yayasan Sahaja Sawah covered the rest of the total cost for building the 40 shelters. On the 15th of November, the Yayasan team purchased the materials for the construction of 40 shelters for residents of Ban village. Now, 40 families who get damaged by the earthquake can live in shelters.
